A Bit About Japanese Sports
Sumo is one of the most watched sports in Japan alongside Football and Baseball. Sumo (相撲) is originated from Japan. The aim of the game is to push your opposition out of the circle.
Football is the joint first most popular sport in Japan. Japan always qualify for the world cups which makes it exciting for the viewers. They have some of the most known players in the world such as Shinji Kagawa, Honda and Yoshida which have featured in the most prestigous league in the world (Barclays Premier League).



Kendo is another popular Japanese sport. Kendo is a japanese form of fencing. Two opponents attempt to strike the other opponents chest. They wear full protection ( face masks and chest guards) and use a bamboo stick as their fencing sword.
